Role: Registered Nurse in a Surgical Specialty Acute Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Utilize nursing skills and the nursing process to deliver high-quality care to non-trauma surgical and medical inpatients, support safety and quality at the point of care, and precept new staff. Contribute to evidence-based practice and patient outcomes through multidisciplinary teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills: State RN licensure, a minimum of 6 months nursing experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program (for less than 3 years' experience), and current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross. Ability to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Duties: Provide specialized acute care on a new 18-bed unit, supporting patients with moderate to high acuity, and participate in ongoing education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.
