Quality Control Inspector land

Responsibilities

• As a Quality Control Inspector at Mainstream, you will constantly verify that mission‑critical parts are being produced that meet or exceed required tolerances and standards.
• Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections of parts produced by our manufacturing departments (waterjet, milling, turning).
• Coordinate with Quality Control Technicians and Department Leads to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow that maximizes production.
• Read and interpret drawings to determine if an inspected part passes or fails.
• Use standard measurement devices (/OD micrometers, pin gauges, calipers, depth micrometers, comparators, etc.).
• Document inspection results by completing inspection reports/forms.
• Maintain a working knowledge of GD&T.
• Prioritize jobs and multitask as needed.

• Experience with Hexagon CMM, Absolute Arms, or FARO arms is a plus.
• CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
• Prior machining experience is a plus.
• Experience with ISO:9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus.
