We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join ourteam s is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic who possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, advanced diagnostics abilities,and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently in the field as a heavy equipment Field mechanic.

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairson a variety of heavy equipment, including scrapers, dozers, and excavators etc..

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operations.

• Train and mentor junior mechanics, providing guidance oncomplex repairs, diagnostics techniques, and safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance activities.

• Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and equipment specifications.

• Properly Maintain supplied Mechanics truck and other company equipment

Requirements:

• At least 5yrs of experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment. CAT experience a plus.

• Experience with diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, pneumatics,and electrical systems.

• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software relevant to heavy equipment diagnostics.

• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

• Ability to inspect heavy equipment and identify defects and performance issues both in the field and in the shop.

• Must have own tools applicable to the position.

• Maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical,hydraulic and diesel systems on a variety of construction equipment and tools.

• Perform required visual inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on a variety of construction equipment.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related toheavy equipment maintenance and repair.

• Skilled in welding and cutting.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
