About the Role
JFT is growing and hiring Welders at multiple skill levels in Loveland, CO.
All applicants are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on experience level and welding test performance. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with an anticipated posting close date of 7/31/26.
- Level I: 1-2 years of experience – $22.00–26.00 per hour
- Must have MIG/Dual Shield, 3G carbon/stainless certification.
- Level II: 2-4 years of experience – $26.00–31.00 per hour
- MIG / TIG / Stick Welding, Fabrication & Repair, 6G Carbon & Stainless Testing, AWS D1.1 Knowledge, AWS D1.6 Knowledge.
- Level III: 3-5 years of experience – $31.00–37.00 per hour
- Tip TIG & Aluminum, Advanced Welding, Pipe / Plate / Sheet Metal, Overhead Crane Operation, Rigging Certification, AWS / ASME Certifications.
- Level IV: 5+ years of experience – $37.00–44.00 per hour
- Mastery of all welding processes and materials, JFT Welding Certifications, Technical Leadership & Training.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Independently set up welding equipment and fixtures.
- Perform complex fabrication and fit up.
- Maintain safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety rules and shop procedures.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Ability to learn and progress to the next level within reasonable timelines.
- Work experience in welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
- Working knowledge of complex fabrication and repair techniques.
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1/D1.6 (helpful).
- 3G weld certification – Carbon & Stainless Steel.
- Ability to read drawings and understand weld symbols.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Able to use a tape measure accurately and operate basic hand tools.
- Detail oriented and efficient in work habits.
Shop Foreman
Physical RequirementsStrength and Stamina: Lifting and moving parts or materials up to 50 lbs, stand for 8+ hours.
Manual Dexterity: Precise hand movements for tools, equipment and computer operations.
Visual Acuity: Good eyesight, including close vision and depth perception.
Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, maneuvering around machinery.
Coordination: Good hand‑eye coordination for equipment operation.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication with team members, customers and vendors.
Typical Working ConditionsMachine and fabrication shop environment with equipment such as water jet tables, lathes, milling machines and press brakes. Welding operations often nearby. Strict safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Access to Restricted InformationThis role requires immediate access to restricted information under federal law. Hiring is contingent on eligibility to access all required information and facilities. No new FNVA sponsorship; candidates must already be eligible.
