Installation Technician, Plumber, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Swan has an open position for a Plumbing Sales/Drain Technician to meet with customers to identify and diagnose specific drain/sewer concerns. The Drain Technician gets the line(s) flowing and advises customers on next steps including a camera main inspection. Drain Technicians produce quality, on-time inspections and clearing of plumbing related jobs to meet the requirements of our customer agreement and in accordance with local plumbing codes.
CompetitiveCompensation Package
Annual base salary + commissions with earning potential of $100-150K annually.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrates knowledge of sewer systems, repair and installation using standard tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Performs drain clearing at customer homes and provides overall assessment of known systems.
- Provides guidance to homeowners on next steps in the process to permanently repair sewer lines.
- Works efficiently and keeps job areas clean and organized.
- Works closely with Plumbing Service Manager and Dispatch in providing customer solutions.
- Properly represents the company when in the public and demonstrates company ethics.
- Establishes and maintains customer oriented focus.
- Communicates politely and effectively with, and in front of, customers.
- Works as part of a team with managers and other departments.
- Participate and attend department meetings.
- Thorough knowledge of all sewer systems and plumbing safety codes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Able to assist in evaluating assigned install team personnel on job performance and provide field coaching as necessary.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
