Senior Software Test Engineer – Beckman Coulter Life Sciences

Responsible for driving software quality through the development and execution of robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation activities that ensure reliable, compliant, and high-performing software products. This on‑site role reports to the Manager, Software Engineering and is part of the Software Engineering – R&D organization located in Loveland, CO.

• Own and execute test strategies for software products, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner cross‑functionally with software development, hardware development, product management, and quality teams.
• Lead defect identification, root cause analysis, and resolution using structured problem‑solving approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement of test processes and quality metrics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Dev Ops.

• Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Experience with cloud or microservices architectures.

Annual salary range: $110,000 – $120,000. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility.
