Position Overview
Warehouse Associate I is responsible for supporting the efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain by receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. The role involves storing and organizing raw materials and finished products, loading, unloading, and stocking merchandise safely and accurately, and verifying shipments against records to ensure accuracy. Additionally, the associate picks, packs, and prepares items for delivery to customers or resellers, helping maintain a smooth flow of products from arrival to final shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Direct, control, and monitor the warehousing and distribution of materials or finished goods.
- Oversee receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise.
- Operate and manage heavy‑duty equipment as needed.
- Plan the movement of materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Ensure sufficient supply of goods and products to meet operational needs.
- Implement and control the movement and storage of goods from origin to point of consumption.
- Ensure customer requirements are met through efficient and effective delivery of products and services.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills; outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to arrange items or actions according to specific rules or patterns.
- Critical thinking capabilities; use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; follow diagrams, pictures, and instructions carefully.
- Effective use of Windows and standard applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Shift: 1st shift – 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday–Friday.
- Hourly rate: $19.50 to $?? per hour with a bonus target of 3%; shift premium may be available.
