Logistics Associate
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Logistics Associate to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 500 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
As a Logistics Associate, you will be the backbone of our supply chain operations. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials—from receiving raw goods to preparing finished products for shipment. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Inspection:
Unload incoming shipments, verify packing slips against physical inventory, and inspect goods for damage. - Material Movement:
Move raw materials to production lines and transport finished goods to the warehouse using pallet jacks or forklifts. - Order Picking:
Accurately pull and stage orders for outgoing shipments based on pick lists. - Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards) and perform daily safety checks on equipment. - Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and stand/walk for the duration of a shift. Tech Savvy:
Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic computer entry.
Skills:
Strong communication skills for coordinating with the shipping/receiving team.
Education:
Experience:
1–2 years in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
