Under routine supervision, this position manages the efficiency and accuracy of invoicing for accounts with lowest complexity, identifying and resolving freight payment issues with customers, including collections and variances.
Key Responsibilities- Accurate and timely invoicing.
- Network and build relationships with J.B. Hunt employees and external customers, responding to inquiries and complaints related to accessorial billing processes, notifications, billing issues, etc., and identifying root cause and solutions.
- Direct the application of customer payments to outstanding invoices.
- Manage receivables, including auditing, processing balance dues, and revenue adjustments.
- Obtain and investigate missing or incomplete documentation to meet customer billing requirements.
- Contact customer contacts for payment status.
- Reduce outstanding accounts receivables for assigned customers.
- Set up automated aging reports.
- Audit billed charges for validity.
- Work with internal teams to improve processes, discuss action plans, and contractual changes to achieve organizational/department/team goals and objectives.
- Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of combined education, experience, and training. - Preferred
Qualification:
Associate’s degree in Finance, Business Administration/Management, Communication, Transportation Logistics, or related field with 1-2 years of experience. - Proficient computer skills.

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the Company’s bonus and incentive plans as applicable and in effect from time to time.
