Job Title: Forensic IT Investigator

Job SummaryUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a range of forensic investigations of security incidents (e.g., theft, fraud, commercial espionage, and other unethical behaviors) to support investigations. The position will also assist with forensically reviewing evidence and/or data and presenting findings to assist with ongoing investigations being conducted by the security team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct a range of forensic investigations of security incidents according to related policies, laws and regulations
- Execute and investigate security incidents; notify and report to Security Management
- Prepare reports and documents of details and outcome and present to appropriate stakeholders
- Apply forensic methods and techniques to test security technology, hardware/software equipment, operating systems and memory for electronic data trails detection and devices records tracing
- Collect and analyze investigative information and data to identify criminal behavior, poor security practices and unauthorized activities
- Support business leaders and key stakeholders in understanding problems, assessing risks and benefits, and presenting solutions
- Manage multiple complex cases while achieving results
- Knowledge of the organization, operational processes and company goals
- Manage key security software platforms such as incident reporting and mass notification
- 5 or more years of experience in an information technology related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience in Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, and/or Incident Management
- Computer forensics and/or fraud certifications, such as CCFE
- Analytical thinking and deductive reasoning skills
- Ability to make independent time-sensitive decisions
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Experience in corporate security
- Experience in technology research
- Knowledge of security technology
- Proficient time management skills
- Reporting skills

CompensationFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
