Customer Experience Internship – Managed Logistics (Part‑time)

Under close supervision, this internship will provide hands‑on experience delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role focuses on understanding transportation industry workflows, building relationships, and integrating technology to support seamless client service.

• Gain exposure to the transportation industry and develop a foundational understanding of freight operations.
• Work with a managed client base to continuously improve shipment operations, including automated tracking, online booking, and communication on accessorials.
• Build an understanding of operational considerations such as capacity, seasonality, pricing, and key performance indicators that influence freight movement and customer interactions.
• Observe and practice account‑management strategies by learning J.B. Hunt service offerings, market impacts, and scorecards to identify correlated solutions.
• Learn about the technology and tools J.B. Hunt uses to streamline workflows and enable customer access to order management.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 15‑20 hours a week during the school semester.
• Junior or senior level preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Pay range will consider skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with company plans.
