Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily product inventory and oversee operations to support Sales and Delivery. Ensuring safety and maximum internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage property maintenance
  • Consistently take care of fleet maintenance issues
  • Management of personnel, including performance evaluation
  • Follow up and control daily absence and overtime
  • Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met
  • Take responsibility for security of the building and stock
  • Maintain housekeeping of offices, warehouse and surrounding area
  • Overseeing operations, delivery and warehouse
  • Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
  • Hold monthly meetings with subordinates to set and evaluate monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
  • Evaluate execution of safety standards
  • Ensure open communication about working environment
  • Communicate openly with other departments
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Report on team and individual performance
  • Develop and execute innovative operations strategies
  • Follows all requirements written in handbook
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to become Forklift certified
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from a four-year college or university
  • 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
  • 3+ years of experience in the Distribution Industry
Physical Requirements:

Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.
