Location: Lowell, AR 72745
Pay Rate: $17 - $18/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Works alongside engineers and laboratory technicians to prepare samples, perform testing, record results, and maintain laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical equipment, and able to accurately follow testing procedures while documenting results.
Key Responsibilities Laboratory Testing- Process laboratory samples and perform assigned testing procedures.
- Set up, build, and modify basic testing fixtures and equipment.
- Operate laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Follow established test plans, procedures, and data sheets.
- Observe and evaluate test performance while accurately recording results.
- Record observations and test data with accuracy.
- Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to summarize testing results.
- Input and retrieve data using laboratory software and computer systems.
- Report findings to engineers and laboratory personnel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
- Examine customer samples and perform testing according to established procedures.
- Assist engineering staff with testing activities and laboratory operations.
- Communicate with customers when necessary during testing activities.
- Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Ensure testing equipment remains in proper working condition.
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company security requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment or laboratory testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data collection and documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently.
