Neighborhood Sales Representative:
Full time, not seasonal or part time. Natural State Pest and Lawn is looking for strong‑minded, self‑driven individuals with sales experience to join our experienced Lawn and Pest Door‑to‑Door team. Natural State takes an unconventional approach to building our Door‑to‑Door team. Compared to other companies that look at Door‑to‑Door as seasonal, entry‑level sales work, Natural State fosters a Door‑to‑Door environment that focuses on career longevity and financial success.
We strive to be fair to both the employees and company, a true partnership. Our reps work year round and are recognized as key members of the company’s success. Expectations are clear and defined as first‑year reps achieving 250–300 sales. For reference, all 1st‑year reps retained by Natural State achieved 250+ sales in 2025. The right person will be successful long term in this position.
The job is a Door‑to‑Door position; however, cold‑calling experience is a desirable attribute as well. Mosquito and early‑season lawn sales will be generated primarily over the phone. The Natural State Door‑to‑Door team will also work two Home Show events per year. These shows are mandatory and on weekends. These shows play a crucial role in the team’s yearly success.

Job Summary and Monthly Objectives250 plus sales mandatory in year 1.
Selling lawn, tree and shrub, pest control: home and yard, termite, mole treatments.
Weekend work is optional, primarily only needed for an employee not meeting weekly metrics.
Two Home Show events each year, in Spring and Fall. These home shows are conducted on weekends and mandatory. They contribute to your metrics.
Training and Work ScheduleJanuary/February:
Extensive in‑person training pertaining to every segment of the company. You will have a clear understanding of what our company offers by the end of this training. After training has been completed, you will be cold calling existing customers to add lawn care.
Feb–May:
Door‑to‑Door lawn sales. This is what you were hired for. Time to shine and mark your place on the team. Natural State will make sure you have all the knowledge and answers to be successful.
May–June:
Door‑to‑Door lawn sales along with Yard Defense (mosquito, fleas, ticks treatment) upsells. You will still close at the doors for lawn, but rotations or mixed days calling current customers to upsell our Yard Defense will occur as well. Your cold‑calling in the early part of the year should pay significant dividends on this campaign.
July–September: HOT HORT, upselling current lawn customers on our tree/shrub program. You will be given a document to perform a mid‑season inspection on every aspect of the property with an emphasis on tree/shrub. You will be on the current customers property to run the lead using a company truck.
October:
Door‑to‑Door lawn sales along with cold calling to earn back any business lost or not gained from the current year.
November/December:
Christmas DCor, termite telemarketing campaign, cold‑calling cancels, leads‑not‑sold.

Compensation: $40,000.00 yearly salary paid bi‑weekly. $20 upfront commission on each sale entered. 10% commission payout on the backend monthly for each sale lasting a year from when the sale was entered. Bonus opportunities.
