Traveling Service Electrician - Lowell, AR

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Service Electrician in Lowell, AR. The Traveling Service Electrician is responsible for performing comprehensive electrical service and project work in commercial and industrial settings.

This role requires a highly mobile professional capable of 100% regional travel to troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems while ensuring strict compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40 to $48 Per Hour BOE

• Valid electrical license from any U.S. state
• Valid driver's license in good standing

• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical components to repair or replace faulty systems and install modern infrastructure upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and install new wiring, lighting systems, fuse boxes, generators, and related components.
• Conduct thorough post-installation testing to verify all systems and devices are fully operational and safe.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, county, state, and federal codes, as well as legal and insurance requirements.
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks while meeting project deadlines and submitting daily deliverables including photos, signed checklists, and As-Builts.
• Mentor and oversee co-workers as needed to ensure quality of work and site efficiency.
• Maintain professional, solutions-oriented relationships with clients and team members on all job sites.
• Perform service and project-based work across a regional territory with a focus on commercial and industrial environments.

• Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical service and installation.
• Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time, often for several weeks at a stretch.
• Must reside within a 1.5 to 2-hour radius of Lowell, AR.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights and occasional Saturdays, typically averaging 45-50 hours per week.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage project documentation accurately.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Clean driving record and the ability to operate a vehicle for extended travel periods.

• Must have manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination to handle tools and small components.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and poles and work at various heights.
• Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits and digging or back-filling as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions and extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to see color to accurately discern color‑coded wiring.
• Willingness to work in noisy and dusty environments while following all OSHA safety standards.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $40 to $48 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
