Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are completed
  • Helping to keep our facilities clean and safe for customers and associates
  • Building your skills through training and hands‑on coaching for minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
  • Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • The ability and willingness to work outdoors
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding and compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
  • Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
  • Driving Penske and customer vehicles requires a current driver qualification file, annual MVR checks, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and safety performance history records; CDL holders must complete a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and be subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the designated location, complete the employment application, submit to background screening (criminal checks, past employment and education), pass a drug screen and physical as required by the DOT, and be available for travel within a near geography for training
  • Regulation by the Department of Transportation or designation as safety sensitive requires constant alertness and a safe manner; associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others
Physical Requirements
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during scheduled working hours
  • Regular use of hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and operate required tools or controls
  • Safe work at heights using applicable ladders and elevated platforms
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
  • Must see and hear to safely navigate the work environment amid large truck traffic
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs/23kg regularly and up to 100lbs/45kg occasionally; push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 pounds regularly
Pay

$23.00

Hours

6:00am–2:30pm Sunday–Thursday

Shift Differentials
  • Second shift start times after 11am are eligible for $2.00 per hour shift differential
  • Third shift start times after 9pm are eligible for $3.00 per hour shift differential
