As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you'll make sure vehicles are fueled, clean and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile.

Main Responsibilities- Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are completed.
- Maintaining a clean and safe facility for customers and associates.
- Building skills through training to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and carrying out preventive maintenance.

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
- Excellent customer‑service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
- Basic mechanical ability and tool use (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Compliance with Penske management’s instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other established information.
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- DOT‑regulated driving of company and customer vehicles; requires a current driver qualification file (annual MVR check, DOT physical, safety performance history, drug screening for CDL holders, FMCSA clearinghouse review).
- Willingness to work the required schedule, location, submit the Penske employment application, undergo background screening (criminal checks, past employment, education), pass drug and physical screen as required by DOT, and travel locally for training.
- Ability to maintain constant alertness and work safely in a high‑risk environment, accepting responsibility for personal and others’ safety.
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
- Use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, and operate tools or controls.
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- See and hear to safely navigate a workplace with large trucks.
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg); push/pull truck tires often exceeding 100 lbs.
Pay: $23.00 per hour.
Hours:
6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Sunday–Thursday.
Second shift with start times after 11:00 am: $2.00 per hour.
Third shift with start time after 9:00 pm: $3.00 per hour.
