Data Coordinator (205-Day Position)

Schedule:

School-year position; summers and most school breaks off

Reports To:

Director of Information and Educational Technology

Position Overview

The Data Coordinator supports the district's student information system and manages student and staff data used for state and federal reporting. This role ensures data accuracy, supports staff in the use of data systems, and helps maintain reliable information for district operations.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the district's Student Information System (Skyward).
  • Manage student and staff data, including annual setup, user access, and ongoing updates.
  • Coordinate and submit required state and federal data reports.
  • Monitor data accuracy and perform routine verification.
  • Create data extracts and reports for district and school use.
  • Train and assist staff with data systems and procedures.
  • Communicate system updates and reporting changes to staff.
  • Support job-related data and system tasks in collaboration with the Technology Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate's degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience or coursework in data management, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with a student information system preferred (Skyward a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment
  • Office-based position with occasional standing and light lifting.
