Elementary Teacher Leave Position

Overview

TITLE:
Kindergarten Elementary Teacher Leave Position (Approximately 12 weeks beginning March 2026)

Provide engaging, standards-based instruction to promote student achievement in alignment with district goals.

• Valid Indiana teaching license (or as required by state certification)
• Knowledge of child development and effective instructional practices
• Ability to use data to inform instruction and support student growth

• Teach assigned classes and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards
• Assess student progress using formative and summative methods; use data to adjust instruction
• Collaborate with grade-level team and staff to support student learning
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic and behavioral progress
• Maintain accurate records as required by district and state policies
• Participate in school meetings and professional responsibilities as assigned

Full-time certificated leave position. Salary per current teacher salary schedule.

Building Principal

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
• Punctual, dependable attendance required
