Revenue AccountantLocation:
Lowell/Weston (Remote/Hybrid, as applicable)
UKG is seeking a Revenue Accountant who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely revenue recognition across UKG's SaaS and professional services offerings. This role partners closely with U.S. based Finance and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting skills, and the ability to work within an automated revenue accounting system. This position reports to the Senior Manager, REVPRO Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Update revenue data from the upstream systems, this includes data structure analysis and data cleansing and enrichment. Research missing data and add to the automated revenue accounting system (REVPRO).
- Validate and confirm REVPRO, reconciling to upstream systems such as D365, Oracle and for monthly transactions.
- Apply knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) to analyze revenue contracts and transactions within the REVPRO system.
- Close REVPRO system monthly and run REVPRO reports.
- Review revenue system reports, including negative revenue waterfall and Salesforce reports. Manage large data sets from REVPRO reports.
- Support system projects and external audits by participating in UAT testing, preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of overall work experience in finance close operations, financial statements, and/or Revenue Recognition.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Basic understanding of ASC 606 GAAP revenue guidance is desirable.
- Demonstrate ability and interest in learning new systems and data tools.
- Strong attention to detail as well as superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with different data sources such as ERP systems (D365, Oracle).
- Excellent Excel skill levels (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements).
- Experience working with Revenue Management Systems such as REVPRO (Zuora) & Salesforce.
The pay range for this position is $56,800 to $81,650. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance‑based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
