Senior Accounts Receivable SpecialistLowell, MA | $80-100k base
KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a well-established organization in its search for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position will play a key role within the accounting team, supporting accounts receivable, credit, collections, and related financial activities.
Responsibilities- Manage accounts receivable and customer credit activities
- Monitor outstanding balances and support collection efforts
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and assist with credit decisions
- Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate customer records
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve customer account issues
- Assist with month- and quarter-end close activities
- Prepare AR reporting and analysis for management
- Support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit, or related experience
- Strong credit and collections background
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems
- Experience with credit risk assessment and account reconciliations
- SAP experience is a plus
