Job DescriptionThis position reports to the Assistant Director, Operations and Events.
The Event Management Specialist is a key member of the Event Management team and coordinates event services with University Service departments and outside vendors.
This position maintains professional relationships within the Boston College community (students and staff), and assists external clients and vendors.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Operations and Events, this position will collaborate with the team in coordinating and executing campus services to ensure the success of events at the University, servicing students, faculty, staff, and external clients.
Full‑Time Hiring Range: 1–4 years’ experience: $61,040 – $76,300, salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree required, with previous experience in event planning preferred.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and/or Collegiate Conference and Events Program (CCEP) designation preferred, but not required.
