Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Mail Service Associate for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity in Lowell, MA. This role is ideal for someone with mailroom, shipping, receiving, Fed Ex, UPS, courier, or administrative support experience who enjoys staying organized, working independently, and supporting smooth daily office operations.
The Mail Service Associate will help ensure incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier shipments are handled accurately, securely, and on time. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, a professional team environment, and the opportunity to grow into a long‑term role. Candidates who take pride in accuracy, confidentiality, customer service, and teamwork will be well positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, parcels, U.S. Postal Service items, courier deliveries, and interdepartmental mail to the appropriate recipients and departments.
- Collect outgoing mail in a timely manner and prepare items for shipment using computer systems or service provider equipment.
- Process outbound courier shipments and maintain accurate mailing records, tracking logs, and shipment documentation.
- Perform accurate data entry related to mailroom activity, shipments, inventory, and administrative support needs.
- Monitor and control inventory of mailroom and shipping supplies to ensure materials are available for daily operations.
- Pick up and deliver supplies to designated locations as needed for mailing projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. - Job Type: Temp‑to‑Hire.
- Location:
Lowell, MA. - May have to float to Boston, MA occasionally to support the other branch (travel compensated).
