Corporate Strategy Manager, Automotive

Responsibilities

• Partner with business unit and corporate leadership to define, communicate, and deploy global automotive business strategies.
• Lead the work to identify and diagnose strategy questions.
• Prepare executive‑level materials for SLT and Board discussions.
• Transform its business model and technology portfolio.
• Own and drive the BU strategy process and project work.
• Work with leadership to determine the most critical strategy questions.
• Lead the work from end‑to‑end with context‑appropriate structure, objectivity, and analytical rigor.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality work to inform key decision moments.
• Represent the BU strategy view in enterprise‑level planning.
• Help mentor junior staff and others.

• 7+ years’ experience in strategy with direct accountability for leading strategic growth and transformation initiatives.
• Mix of strategy consulting experience at a top‑tier firm.
• One or more corporate roles in the automotive industry or similar B2B technology industry.
• Demonstrated command of the end‑to‑end strategy process.
• Strong understanding of software business models, licensing, and technology platform architectures.
• Fluency in financial statements and financial concepts.
• Professional demeanor and presence with high situational awareness.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
• Motivated self‑starter with a strong “owner mindset.”
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is a definite plus.
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field; MBA is strongly preferred.
