The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Hardware Data Collection team within UKG's Workforce Management product organization. In this role, you will own defined product areas across UKG's portfolio of time clocks, data collection devices, and related software experiences used by customers and employees worldwide.
You will support established and widely deployed products through lifecycle planning, sustaining engineering initiatives, customer and partner needs, international availability support, and end-of-sale and end-of-life programs. Working closely with senior product leaders, engineering, support, services, sales, operations, partners, and customers, you will own product decisions and translate business and customer needs into product plans, requirements, lifecycle recommendations, and cross-functional execution.
You will draw on data from multiple sources - including product sales, rentals, maintenance status, installed base, live device activity, customer usage, and support signals - to inform product decisions and lifecycle planning. This is a role for a hardware-experienced product manager who is looking to build deep expertise in an important and complex portfolio, supported by experienced product leaders who are invested in your growth.
Key Responsibilities- Own defined areas of the UKG Hardware Data Collection portfolio, including established and widely deployed hardware products, related software experiences, and sustaining initiatives.
- Drive product lifecycle activities, including sustaining support, end-of-sale and end-of-life readiness, customer transition planning, and cross-functional communication.
- Partner with senior product leaders to evaluate customer needs, define priorities, document requirements, and execute product plans aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, sustaining engineering, QA, support, services, operations, sales, presales, enablement, and product marketing to manage product issues, enhancements, releases, and readiness activities.
- Support international product availability efforts including regional readiness, supportability, serviceability, and country-specific sales or deployment constraints.
- Serve as a primary product point of contact for customer, partner, sales, service, and support questions related to assigned products.
- Analyze and synthesize product, customer, financial, operational, and installed-base data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and lifecycle implications.
- Maintain clear product documentation, lifecycle status information, internal guidance, and enablement materials.
