- Working from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Handling vital project management aspects for DOT bridge and highway jobs, including scheduling crews, generating cost estimates, and negotiating subcontracts
- Ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Updating cost estimates to match production data and material prices
- Completing construction take‑offs and negotiating change orders
- Preparing and submitting shop drawings
- Maintaining open communication between construction crews and office staff
- Leading meetings and motivating team members
- 5+ years of experience managing heavy highway construction projects (either from the office or in the field)
- Experience working on public and private projects
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to compose formal letters
- Must live within 1 hour of the job location
- Civil engineering or construction management degree
- Experience using estimating software (B2W), accounting software (Spectrum), or project management software (Project Sight or Procore), and scheduling software (Primavera P6)
- AutoCAD or Bluebeam experience
