Job Description

Collegiate is searching for a middle school level English Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. This position would teach Grade 8.

What You Will Do
  • Teach: Infuse creativity into delivering engaging lessons and ensuring students achieve academic growth.
  • Manage: Apply school and classroom rules consistently, using preventive discipline techniques, motivating students, communicating expectations clearly, and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Record: Observe, evaluate, report, and record students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
  • Collaborate: Work with parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve behavioral or academic struggles and celebrate successes.
  • Commit: Demonstrate commitment by adhering to school policies and procedures and meeting attendance and punctuality guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and fluency in the subject area to be taught.
  • Additional training or certifications in specific reading programs preferred.
  • All required state certifications for the position.
  • Completion of all required reference and criminal background checks.
Benefits

Full‑time position. Salary range: $62,000 to $82,000 per year. PTO, health insurance, retirement contributions, and professional development support.
