Job Description

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking a Reading Interventions Teacher to provide intensive / intervention / MTSS support to middle school students. CCSL is a tuition‑free public charter academy offering a challenging program in a safe, structured environment. The school serves students K‑12 and aims to prepare all students for college and lifelong learning.

Responsibilities
  • Teach: Infuse creativity into engaging lessons and ensure students achieve academic growth.
  • Manage: Apply school and classroom rules consistently, using preventive discipline techniques and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Record: Observe, evaluate, report, and record students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
  • Collaborate: Work with parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students’ behavioral or academic struggles and celebrate successes.
  • Commit: Demonstrate commitment to the school community by adhering to policies and procedures and meeting attendance and punctuality guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, and fluency in subject area.
  • All required state certifications for the position.
  • Completion of reference and criminal background checks.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
  • A bright smile, warm heart, and positive energy.
Position Details

Position Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $62,000 to $82,000 per year
