- Teach: Infuse creativity into delivering engaging lessons and ensure students achieve academic growth.
- Manage: Apply school and classroom rules consistently, use preventive discipline techniques, motivate and engage students, communicate expectations clearly, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Record: Observe, evaluate, report and record students’ performance, behavior, social development, and health.
- Collaborate: Work with parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address behavioral or academic challenges and celebrate progress.
- Commit: Demonstrate commitment to the school community by adhering to policies and attendance/punctuality guidelines.
- Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in Special Education preferred.
- All required state certifications and background checks for the position.
- Completion of all required reference and criminal background checks.
- A positive, energetic attitude.
