Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking to expand our English Language Education (ELE) team with additional certified teachers to work with our middle school for the 2026-27 school year. We are searching for a total of 1.5 FTE staff members to join the team.
CCSL is a tuition‑free public charter academy providing an academically challenging program in a safe, structured environment. Since opening in September 2013 the school serves students from K‑12.
Our mission is to be a provider of high‑quality education to a highly diverse student body, preparing all students for college success, lifelong learning, and civic responsibility.
What You Will Do- Teach: Infuse creativity into delivering engaging lessons and ensuring student academic growth.
- Manage: Apply school and classroom rules consistently, motivating students, communicating expectations, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Record: Observe, evaluate, report, and record student performance, behavior, social development, and health.
- Collaborate: Work with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve student behavioral or academic issues and celebrate successes.
- Commit: Demonstrate commitment to the school community by adhering to policies, procedures, and attendance guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and fluency in the subject area to be taught.
- All required state certifications for the position – EL/ML/ESL for Elementary + SEI Endorsement.
- Completion of all required reference and criminal background checks.
- Positive, supportive attitude and a willingness to bring enthusiasm to the classroom.
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Position Type: Part‑Time
Salary: $37,200 to $49,200 Per Year
