City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic support in core subjects
• Mentor students to build social-emotional skills and strong relationships
• Track and report student progress and attendance data
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align support with classroom goals
• Lead or support enrichment, school climate, and attendance initiatives
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Engage families and community partners to support student success
• Model City Year values of service, equity, and inclusion
