Principal MMIC Design Engineer Job Description

• Design RF SOI MMICs that comply with initial specifications, thorough simulations, managing the project to validation, supporting the manufacturing release and qualification.
• Work with customers, product management, product engineers, test engineers and applications engineering.

• Deep knowledge of CMOS analog and RF SOI design techniques.
• Demonstrated design successes in high power SOI switch designs.
• Competent to design the following circuit blocks in Cadence: bandgap reference, LDO, charge pumps, level shifters and I/O buffers.
• Familiarity with CMOS, RF SOI, and/or SiGe processes.
• Expert knowledge of FEM simulations using HFSS or ADS.
• M.S. plus 10 years of design experience.
• Ph.D. plus 5 years of design experience.
