Process Engineer

We are partnered with an industry leading, medical device manufacturer, located 25 minutes from Lowell, MA. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity to partner with site management and collaborate with the manufacturing and project teams to oversee the implementation of new processes across injection molding and medical device manufacturing. The position requires a highly talented, results-oriented person to focus on production launches and variation reduction initiatives.

• Review part designs and tooling (including mold features.)
• Support molding processes, alongside cross function teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Oversee APQP activities, DOEs, capability studies, and process optimization.
• Collaborate on automation concepts and secondary operations.

• 3+ years’ experience in plastic manufacturing or molding experience.
• Previous experience managing plant level projects, including: machinery installations, process validation, training, and implementation.
• Bachelors of Engineering (preference in Plastics Engineering but, will consider other engineering degrees with experience.)
• Ability to work with ERP and standard business software.
• Background in working with cross functional engineering teams, clients, and vendors.
