Position: Senior Technician-Equipment (Maintenance)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician who thrives in a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will play a key role working towards the timely and quality delivery of Diode products.

Responsibilities
  • Repairing and maintaining all production equipment in our wafer fabrication facility to ensure availability for production needs.
  • Performing installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
  • Studying equipment performance and reliability.
  • Establishing programs and solutions to increase equipment uptime and address manufacturing process impacting problems.
  • Providing technical support to the production operators and process engineering teams.
  • Defining and creating preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Technical or military training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams and flow charts.
  • Experience in component-level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
  • Experience in soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.

    Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma in any technical field.
  • Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Diode manufacturing and testing experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MIL-PRF-19500 and/or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture.

Physical Requirements

Pay Range

$24.52/hr – $53.85/hr (dependent on multiple factors such as location, skills and experience).
