Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team working on our established medical device FDA product. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing complex electrical systems and electronics within our manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with electrical standards, and support the seamless operation of our products and systems.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced engineering principles, lead root cause analysis efforts, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that sustain operational excellence.

• Provide electrical engineering support for production, including troubleshooting yield and reliability issues

• BSEE required or Equivalent degree required
• 6+ years of electrical engineering and product design experience required and
• Experience in the design, documentation, and testing of analog and digital electronics required and
• Power supply and high voltage circuit design helpful but not required
• Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigation.

• Experience in analog circuit design involving ADC, DAC, op-amps, solenoids, motor drivers and switch regulator.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Develop and improve production test methods, fixtures, and automation
• Support Change orders, component changes, and obsolescence management
• Debug board and system level issues (analog, digital, power supply etc.).
• Documentation of new or revised products.
• Debug testing, or qualification of designs
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers to improve yield and reduce defects
• Generate deliverables and provide support for design transfer activities like process qualification and pilot builds
• Participate in technical design reviews of new or revised products.
• Ensure compliance with medical device standards and design controls.
