Position Description & Overview
The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College has openings for undergraduate courses for Managerial Finance and Introduction to Fintech for the Fall 2026 semester. Courses run from August 31st to December 18th, 2026. Applicants must be able to deliver the course in the specified modality.

2500):
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM, in person. - Fintech and Cryptocurrency (FIN
3344):
Online, asynchronous.
Managerial Finance (FIN
2500):
This course introduces the basics of finance, covering corporate finance and financial markets, financial ratios, budgeting, pro forma statements, cash flows, time value of money, risk and return, bond and stock valuation.
Fintech and Cryptocurrency (FIN
3344):
Focuses on contemporary issues in finance, innovation in technology, fintech applications, cryptocurrencies, payment systems, alternative capital, AI, and machine learning. Course is fully online, asynchronous. Applicants should be comfortable creating and recording video content.
- Master’s degree in business or related area;
Ph.D. preferred. - College teaching experience preferred; related work experience may be considered.

This position is subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check.
Compensation- Minimum: $5,000 per 4-credit course.
- Minimum: $3,750 per lab section.
- Actual pay will be determined based on candidate qualifications, prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.
