Job Overview

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Lowell, Massachusetts. This role involves performing home health visits for our North Boston Visits team, supporting adult and geriatric patients across the Merrimack Valley.

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will aid clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well‑being by providing treatment, conducting tests, educating clients, and delivering appropriate interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Other activities may be requested as needed.

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Massachusetts.
• Graduated from a two‑year college‑level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
• At least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
