Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic care team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 123-bed skilled nursing facility. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing high-quality care and rehabilitation services. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and we are looking for a like-minded professional to join our team.

Up to $65 an hour with weekly pay. $5,000 sign-on bonus available!*

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload
  • Participate in the clinical team process and contribute to quality improvement activities
  • Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Monitor efficiencies and document activities according to company policies
  • Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisors
  • Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
  • Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
