Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Join Our Dynamic Care Team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and residents. Up to $45 an hour with weekly pay.

About the Position:

As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will also participate in clinical program development and implementation, and contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process. Our PTA team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and customer service to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation
  • Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process
  • Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
  • Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
  • Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
  • CEU's per state licensure requirements
  • Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
  • Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
  • New graduates welcome!
