Recovery Coach – Community Outreach Specialist

• Schedule and attend visits at provider partner sites, community events, and community locations such as inpatient treatment centers, methadone clinics, libraries, police stations, and health fairs
• Share information about Marigold Health’s peer recovery services
• Help people download the Marigold app and start receiving services
• Reach out to potential members via SMS, cold calls, or mail
• Spread Marigold Health’s mission to put a Peer in the pocket of every person who needs it
• Support relationships between Marigold and provider partners
• Work toward targets and goals set by contracts
• Adjust availability to work early mornings and/or evenings
• Report to the Senior Manager of Community Outreach and Marketing

• 2–3 years of experience in a community outreach role or healthcare sales
• Ability to get a read on a person and make them feel comfortable
• Working toward Certified Recovery Coach certification in Massachusetts or already certified
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter
• Confident written and verbal communication
• Willingness and comfort traveling about 75% of the time
• Willingness to adjust schedule to meet people when sites are busiest
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Calendar
• Excellent time management and ability to work with short timelines
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Experience working in healthcare (nice to have)
• Knowledge of peer services or recovery coaching (nice to have)
• Experience using technology to improve healthcare (nice to have)
• Bilingual Spanish/English (nice to have)

Demonstrates expertise in community outreach and healthcare sales, with a focus on building relationships and promoting peer recovery services. Proficient in communication, time management, and independent work, while adapting to dynamic schedules and travel requirements.
