Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is hiring per diem Activities Assistants to join our fun and creative recreation team!

Weekly pay at $16 an hour.

Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• We can train the right candidate! Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.

Duties:

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and learn about their interests to tailor programming to their desires.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas that will excite and encourage residents to participate in programming.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
• Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire therapeutic team.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings.
• Report all reportable events immediately.
