About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dietary team as a Dietary Aide. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, food storage, and food distribution, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients. You will work closely with our dietary staff to plan and prepare nutritious meals, and ensure that our patients receive the best possible culinary experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and cooking food items

• Prepare and deliver meals to patients, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met

• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils

• Restock supplies and inventory of food, beverages, and equipment

• Assist with food storage, including labeling and dating food items

• Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to infection control standards

• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special meals and events

• Ensure compliance with dietary policies, procedures, and regulations

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure patient satisfaction and care

Skills and Qualifications:

• 0 years of experience preferred, but will consider new graduates or those with related experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Food safety certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
