About RoleAs a Data Center Technologist (Level
3), you will play a frontline role in maintaining uptime and operational excellence within a large-scale HPC facility. This is not an entry-level position; you will work independently on production systems involving liquid-cooled servers, GPU infrastructure, enterprise networking, and Linux-based environments.
You will support daily data center operations, including rack-and-stack deployments, hardware troubleshooting, cabling, and system investigations. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, comfort with BIOS and Linux troubleshooting, and direct experience supporting liquid cooling systems. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers, vendors, and on-site operations teams to ensure all deployments meet strict reliability, performance, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities- Perform rack-and-stack deployments of HPC servers and infrastructure
- Support and troubleshoot liquid cooling systems within production environments
- Diagnose and replace hardware components, including RAM, drives, and motherboard trays
- Execute BIOS configuration and basic Linux command-line troubleshooting
- Install, label, and manage copper and fiber cabling
- Resolve networking and connectivity issues independently
- Handle data center change management, equipment moves, and installs
- Respond to remote hands requests and support on-site operations
- Manage inventory, asset audits, and vendor support tickets
- Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records
- Mandatory hands-on liquid cooling experience
- Strong background with enterprise servers (Supermicro, Dell, or HPE preferred)
- Experience with copper and fiber cabling installation
- Familiarity with HPC deployments, Infini Band, Mellanox, or Arista hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and networking issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
- Associate degree in IT or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
