Senior Infrastructure Support AdminAs a Senior Infrastructure Support Admin, you will support the activities of the Information Technology department. This includes actively engaging in the network and systems environment to ensure maximum availability, security, performance, capacity, and responsiveness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITES- Responsible for planning, implementation, and maintenance of all hardware and software platforms which comprise the enterprise compute and network environment, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, virtualization technologies, and VPNs.
- Administers Windows and Linux Network Operating systems. Develops, executes, and maintains group policy and Active Directory / LDAP.
- Oversees network performance and monitoring. Troubleshoots network issues and creates plans for improved performance, availability, and efficiencies.
- Manages the infrastructure support ticketing system to resolve system and escalated user issues. Coordinates with third-party vendors and partners as needed.
- Actively engages in the implementation of infrastructure improvements. Develops project plans, maintains regular upgrade schedules, and brings forth recommendations.
- Participates in developing, documenting, updating, and testing business continuity plans.
- Designs, develops, and maintains procedures and network diagrams of the Credit Union technology environment.
- Participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours critical systems monitoring and support. May require extended work hours leading and supporting key initiatives and responding to systems issues.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Three to five years of related experience. Experience with in the financial industry is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
EducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Interpersonal SkillsBuilds relationships and fosters positive interactions with Credit Union team members, vendors, and members by demonstrating friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Good written and verbal communication skills, patience, active listening, and sound judgment are required. Communicates effectively with users having varying technical backgrounds.
Other SkillsProficiency in the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Enterprise Wi-Fi, Active Directory, VoIP, Power Shell, Group Policy, VMware, Network Systems, and Equipment. Efficient with multitasking, problem-solving, decision making, and practical application. Must have the ability to apply cognitive reasoning to daily tasks, take ownership, work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Applies knowledge and experience to develop solutions and implement appropriate actions.
Must be highly motivated, organized, and skillful with time management. Requires broad understanding of technology and a strong commitment to service. This position requires standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and lifting to 30 lbs. regularly.
