Senior Infrastructure Support Admin
At Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, we offer competitive pay and outstanding benefits. This role supports the Information Technology department, ensuring network and system availability, security, performance, and capacity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and maintain hardware and software platforms for the enterprise compute and network environment, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, virtualization technologies, and VPNs.
- Administer Windows and Linux network operating systems; develop, execute, and maintain group policy and Active Directory / LDAP.
- Oversee network performance and monitoring; troubleshoot network issues and develop plans for improved performance and efficiency.
- Manage the infrastructure support ticketing system to resolve system and escalated user issues; coordinate with third‑party vendors as needed.
- Participate in implementing infrastructure improvements; develop project plans, maintain upgrade schedules, and provide recommendations.
- Assist in developing, documenting, updating, and testing business continuity plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain procedures and network diagrams.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours critical systems monitoring and support, with potential extended work hours.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Experience:
Three to five years of related experience; experience within the financial industry preferred. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Build relationships and foster positive interactions with team members, vendors, and members; strong written and verbal communication, patience, active listening, sound judgment. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Enterprise Wi‑Fi, Active Directory, VoIP, Power Shell, Group Policy, VMware, Network Systems, Equipment. - Other:
Efficient multitasking, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and practical application; independence and teamwork; time management; broad understanding of technology and strong commitment to service. - Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs. regularly.
