Sign Patroller

YESCO is seeking part-time employees to conduct nightly sign & lighting patrols.

Drives personal truck or automobile over specified geographic areas to locate and report sign and lighting outages and sign service issues by performing the following duties.

• Follows assigned patrol routes via the Servizio app on your cell phone, thoroughly checking all waypoints on the route for sign and lighting outages and service opportunities
• Maintains constant surveillance from vehicle to identify additional sign and lighting outages and sign service issues
• Utilizes the Servizio handheld to document outages by taking pictures and recording other details such as problem reported, sign/lighting elevations, customer name, address
• Estimates size and characteristics of outage or service issue, and reports findings to supervisor
• Relays information to other interested departments, store managers, and/or owners

• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

• Interacts regularly with supervisor, service, and sales employees in the field and in the office to discuss observations of possible sales/service leads and/or service issues

Work is performed in a personal vehicle. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit; use electronic device to enter data; use telephone to converse with YESCO employees.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities include clarity of vision at a distance of 50 feet or more.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
