Production Operator – Batcher

Responsible for pre‑batching paint blends and staging products for blended orders, supporting facility blenders in spray‑outs, drawdowns, and filling customer orders.

  • Compensation: $20.50 – $24.83 per hour
  • Schedule:

    Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 1st shift
Job Duties
  • Gather and prepare necessary materials and tools for blending.
  • Blend custom paint orders and create blends as directed.
  • Match colors within facility color guidelines.
  • Operate tinting, mixing, and industrial material‑handling equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Minimum requirements
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Undergo criminal history review to protect company operations and safety.
Preferred qualifications
  • At least one year of experience mixing or blending raw materials in an industrial batch process.
  • At least one year of experience operating material‑handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu‑hoists, drum dolly, conveyor belts).
  • At least one year of experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators.
  • At least one year of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods.
  • At least one year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Prior work experience operating tinting or color‑matching equipment.
