Job Description
Our esteemed client in the Beverly region is actively looking for skilled Cable Assemblers II & Soldering Technicians. This presents an excellent chance to join a reputable company, offering long-term job stability and promising avenues for professional growth.
Working Hours:
Monday
-Friday
7:00AM - 3:30PM some flexibility with start times
Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 p/h
Soldering Technicians: An assembler in this position should be able to build any standard cable from start to finish using an MWI with very minimal supervision.
- Assembling parts for various industries
- Work as a machine operator to manufacture company product
- Inspect product for defects
- Measure wire and cut cable
- Crimp wire terminals both manually and by machine
- Solder terminal and plugs
- Conduct rework if necessary
- Inform proper personnel of any maintenance needed to equipment
- Housekeeping duties as needed
Cable Assemblers II: An assembler in this position should be able to build any standard cable from a blueprint, start to finish with very minimal supervision.
- Build cable assemblies to print and interpret drawing of manufacturers work instructions
- Measure wire and cut cable
- Crimp wire terminals both manually and by machine
- Solder terminal and plugs
- Repair any defective product
- Soldering, crimping and stripping experience is a must
- Must have at least six months of assembly or production experience
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Able to build complete FAI and documentation.
- Able to do rework.
- Able fill out all paperwork that is required.
- Able to train other and assist when needed.
- Able to work with ENG to do BOM updates.
- Understand MFG process
- IPC 610 is a plus but not required
- Experience reading blueprints
- Experience with CAD is a plus
- Experience with G4 assembly is a plus
- Must have basic math skills and great attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Willingness to cross-train
- Must be a team player
