Inventory Specialist
This role focuses on supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution. It also includes materials management duties such as analyzing manufacturing and enterprise resource planning material requirements, approving requisitions, and initiating production and purchase change orders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inventory of stocked and stored items (45%) – ensures areas are clean, stocked, and manages incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Rotate stock in stock locations and general stores (45%) – routinely check for expired products, pick up and deliver leveled items to nursing units, and label chargeable items.
- Participate in annual inventory (10%) – enter completed par leveled data into People Soft MM System 13.
- Analyze manufacturing, ERP, and other material requirements based on assembly demands, component replenishments, substitute parts/materials, production set‑ups, engineering changes, and enterprise supplies.
- Approve part or material requisitions and initiate production and purchase change orders.
- Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years applicable experience. - Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong written and verbal English comprehension.
- Basic data entry and computer skills; proficiency with People Soft and other supply chain software.
- Experience in a hospital supply chain setting.
- Intermediate computer skills.

Physical DemandsHeavy:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
Salary range: $42,000 - $63,000, depending on market factors and internal equity.
