An established food-production operation is hiring an experienced sanitation leader to own shift execution, employee development, and consistent sanitation compliance. This opportunity is ideal for a strong supervisor ready to take on broader management responsibility while remaining hands-on with the team. The role is onsite and primarily supports 2nd shift, with occasional support of other shifts.
- Direct sanitation staffing and work assignments to meet production needs.
- Train and onboard new employees; coach performance and complete formal reviews.
- Inspect production areas and equipment, identify sanitation risks, and ensure timely correction.
- Oversee safe cleaning, sanitizing, chemical use, and equipment breakdown/reassembly.
- Respond to sanitation calls and contamination concerns with urgency.
- Maintain accurate digital reports, shift recaps, schedules, goals, and follow-up documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing- Direct sanitation staffing and work assignments to meet production needs.

- Demonstrated experience leading, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating employees.
- Ability to recognize and correct sanitation and food‑safety concerns.
- Strong follow-through with procedures, documentation, and employee accountability.
- Comfort working in a production environment and using a computer daily.
- 2nd‑shift availability, cross‑shift flexibility, reliable transportation, and English communication.
- Bakery, frozen food, dairy, meat, beverage, or prepared‑food experience.
- Exposure to GMP, SSOP, MSS, pre‑op, or environmental‑monitoring practices.
- Experience supporting quality corrective actions and sanitation verification.
- Broader leadership scope for a proven sanitation supervisor.
- Direct influence on food safety, uptime, and team performance.
- Stable onsite work in a growing operation.
